One day in March KRISTI KREAM and the SUGAR DADDIES dragged their equipment into Nowhereland Studio. Paul Lusk, the engineer, pressed “record” and KKSD started playing. That’s how it went all afternoon, song after song.
The tracks were laid down live from start to finish just as they were played. Paul dressed them up a bit — not in formal wear, but more like throwing on jeans and a t-shirt and leaving the house.
The result is one moment in time — an organic, immediate and unadulterated snapshot of KKSD in 2014. Not where we’re going, not where we’ve been, but where we are right now. It’s our musical journey. Come along for the ride.
